The LSO Development department is looking for a knowledgeable and self-motivated individual to join our team as Trusts & Foundations Officer at an exciting time in the LSO’s history. Reporting to the Trusts & Foundations Manager, the role will primarily work within the Trusts and Foundations team to establish and maintain relationships with grant-giving bodies to help meet and grow income targets. These grants support a range of LSO activities, including projects within our pioneering learning and engagement programme, LSO Discovery; our exciting artistic season at the Barbican Centre; international tours; new commissions for the LSO and recordings produced by our record label LSO Live.
About you
Experience in fundraising from trusts, foundations and other grant-giving bodies is essential for this role, alongside strong communication skills, high attention to detail and a passion for creating concise and compelling written copy. An interest in orchestral/classical music is desirable.
The Trusts & Foundations Officer will also support the wider fundraising of the Department, helping to steward current and potential supporters at concerts, special events, and LSO Discovery projects taking place across east London.

We are looking for someone with demonstrable experience in:
· Writing compelling applications and reports to grant-giving bodies, as well as knowledge of fundraising through trusts and foundations (at least twelve months of experience).
· Researching potential new funding opportunities with an understanding of cultivation and stewardship processes
· Ideally relevant some event management experience.

The job
- We’re looking for an experienced and highly motivated fundraiser to join Chetham’s as Senior Development Manager to manage the development team in securing over £600k of income per annum across Chetham’s School of Music, Library and The Stoller Hall. Role purpose
The Chief Executive Officer is responsible to the Board of Trustees for leading The Amber Trust, developing and realising Amber’s vision and strategy, and playing a key ambassadorial role with funders and other senior stakeholders. The CEO is responsible for the management of the charity and its staff and the execution of Amber’s targets, plans and policies, ensuring that resources are used to best effect in meeting the needs of beneficiaries. About the Role

As well as this, you will also provide line management support, coaching and development for arts sessional workers in their areas. The Arts Coordinator is a delivery role, with a minimum of 55% of working hours spent face to face with young people.

About You
With a qualification in Arts or Youth Work or relevant experience in a range of Arts mediums (ideally two or more, e.g., dance, music, photography, performing or creative arts), you will have experience of:

We are looking for a Creative Expression Coordinator to line manage and support the delivery of Creative Expression programmes including Arts & Crafts, Music, Creative Expression and our newest provision of drama. You will work with the Independent Living Skills and Creative Programmes Manager to ensure we deliver a creative programme that maximises our students' potential, makes the best use of local partnerships, enables students to develop their creativity and increases wellbeing and communication skills.

Main responsibilities
- You’ll manage the delivery of our creative programmes at various locations looking to ensure they are delivered to the highest standard
- You will ensure all sessions are inclusive challenge students, and where possible, use digital technology and learning outside of Share to embed skills
- You will line manage the Creative Expression Tutors supporting them in developing project objectives, conducting one-to-one and appraisal meetings and reviewing and agree project resourcing
- You’ll monitor the quality and impact of the creative programmes, their outcomes and delivery

- You have experience in planning and coordinator inclusive activities with a focus on the creative arts
- You have experience in coordinating, planning and delivering sessions for adults that enable people to acquire new skills, both social and practical
- You have experience in identifying, building and maintaining positive relationships with a wide range of individuals, partner organisations, support networks and agencies on behalf of clients
- Most importantly, you’re passionate about helping disabled people enjoy more autonomy and you understand how to make this happen

The Governance and Compliance Lead will be a key member of the organisation's senior management team, responsible for providing strategic advice and support to the Trust Board and the Chief Executive on governance matters, legal compliance, and risk management.
